weeks! Â
Wow, these smell amazing! If youâve tried Nightbloomingâs shampoo and conditioner bars before, you know theyâre fantastic. The special edition set has all the wonderful performance of the original bars in a beautiful special color and autumn scent. Itâs a fun way to change up my hair routine without sacrificing my favorite shampoo and
conditioner!
I've brewed these up just for my Patrons! It's no secret that I love spoiling my Patrons and loyal, long-term customers. All the ingredients are the same as the LassĂ«a bars you know and love, except I swapped out the Eventide essential oil for limited edition ones!  đ Aroma: Samhain Spell- The scent of autumn- patchouli and dark forests with touches of spice and sweetness. Unisex.  Want to try Samhain Spell as an oil, mister, or rollerball? You can do that right here!  Samhanin Spell is one of my very favorite blends of mine, and when I first thought about limited edition LassĂ«a bars years ago, I knew that this was the very first one I wanted to do. Fall is my favorite season, and Halloween / Samhain my favorite holiday (we are "that house" that gives out full-sized candy bars to about 250 kids a year). Â
They're green, shimmery, and will make you smell like a dark forest wilding (this is a good thing).
LassĂ«a Solid Shampoo Bars are a planet-friendly, hair nourishing way to clean your hair. Full of natural, organic ingredients, these bars are handmade and hand-poured in small batches, then lovingly sent to you in Zero-Waste packaging. Their name comes from the Tolkien Quenya Elvish word lassĂ«a meaning âwith leaves, leafy.â  Note: The green mica in these bars is shimmery and beautiful, and you can use them confidently knowing it will not stain your hair, towels, or tub. Mica is natural and inert.  The Samhain Spell Set is a limited edition set of 1 shampoo bar and 1 conditioner bar. They are ~3oz/90g (in between the Leaf and Lembas sizes), though the exact weight may vary as they are hand poured. Limit 1 set per customer (at least at first). Â
And they're good for the planet, too!
On average, water makes up 80% of liquid shampoos and conditioners and the most Americans goes through 11 bottles of shampoo a year, adding up to a LOT of water you're paying for! The production of liquid shampoo and conditioner also uses up a lot of
freshwater resources and makes shipping heavy, which generates more carbon emissions.
That's a lot of single-use plastic ending up in landfills. In the United States 550,000,000+ plastic shampoo and conditioner bottles are thrown out every year.  The only water Lassëa Solid Shampoo & Conditioner Bars needs is what you were going to use in a shower anyway, and it's much lighter and less expensive to ship, too!  Dark forests not your thing? You can always pick up Lassëa Solid Shampoo & Conditioner Bars with Nightblooming's signature scent: Eventide: A night-blooming forest undulating with dusky vanilla and flashes of crisp evening dew. Unisex.
NightBlooming customers are noticing the savings!
So, I originally Got a Lembas bar last October and posted a review that I loved it. I have just gotten to the point of needing to order a new one, which I did last month. I have been recalculating my math from that last review, shocked. Has 1 Lembas bar lasted me 8 months?( mind you, I still am using the old one, but [ it has shrunk down to be ] similar in size
to a sample one). For background, I have fine hair, but a lot of it, and it goes, at most, to my collarbone. I wash my hair once a week. This is crazy. And my hair feels great and healthy. $32 for shampoo that has lasted 8 months ( and not dead yet!). Without counting the cost of water or the conditioner, I spend 4 dollars a month to clean my hair. $4 a month. Melissa knows what she is doing!! Â Â
LassĂ«a lasts longer and costs you far less in the long run than an endless litany of liquid shampoo and conditioners and their plastic bottles. Â
Learn how to get the most out of your LassĂ«a!Â
This article is full of tips and tricks that will let you get the most out of your Lassëa: how to use the bars, care for them, and clever ways to use the conditioner bar as a lotion, a leave-in, and
more!
From the silky lather to the rich signature scent, Iâm in love with this shampoo bar. It is early in my transition from a soap/shampoo bar, but my hair feels much smoother and softer, and already seems healthier. I wonât lie â the price gave me pause initially, but it only took two washes for me to figure out it was worth it. I havenât felt the need to use
conditioner while washing my hair with this bar, but Iâm so delighted with the change Iâve experienced, Iâm already planning another order, this time including a LassĂ«a conditioning bar. Side note: I appreciate NightBloomingâs eco-friendly packaging which also, somehow, manages to be aesthetically pleasing. Definitely a fan now. Â
The kraft clamshell is reusable (it's great for storing the bar in if you take it to the gym or travel), recyclable, and compostable!
I have tried Shampoo bars before, some from mainstream suppliers, some from small Esty shops, some from small businesses, some from big businesses. Iâve even made shampoo bars myself. My shower is littered with the array of products I have made and tried. I have disliked every single one of them. Some made my hair feel gummy, some made it dry in weird ways,
almost like tendrils. And then I used NightBloomingâs. Not even a fair competition. It doesnât leave a gummy residue, it leaves the hair light and free, and weightless. The other best part is the scent. Iâll walk past the shower and then be like, âOohh. Whats that smell?â and then Iâll rediscover that itâs the shampoo bar. Is it an investment? Yes. But I have found they last a long time. The little sample sizes last me at least 6 washes, and they are itty bitty. I havenât had the lembas one long
enough to tell you how long it would last, but I wager itâll be a long time. If you are willing to spend a little more on yourself (which I assume you are since you are taking the time to research and read reviews), I would go for it. start with the sample size if you arenât sure. You donât have to commit to the bigger bars ( but If youâre like me you probably will once youâve tried it XD)
The overwhelmingly positive response to Lassëa Solid Shampoo & Conditioner Bars has been such a delight, and the Limited Edition Samhain Spell bars a perfect autumn treat for yourself!
