Hey lovelies! I've got a new way for you to hit the free shipping threshold AND help out animals in need!

It's no surprise I'm a giant animal lover. Every cent of the sales I collect from the DIY Garden Pergola Cat Enclosure Guide gets donated to my local Humane society! But now there's another way to help you both hit free shipping and throw our furry friends a proverbial bone...

One of my customers was a few cents short of hitting free shipping / discounted international shipping, and asked if they could just pay the difference, but I didn't have a way for them to do so outside adding products to their cart they didn't need. After rolling this around for a bit, we have a solution!

You can now enter a custom donation for the animals at checkout:

You can enter whatever amount you like in this box and it will be added to your subtotal.

Just keep in mind it's on the Checkout page, not the Cart page, and you must enter it before continuing the checkout process. Some checkout options that don't require you to be logged in, like Apple Pay, may bypass this option.

🌿That's it! Super-simple, and I'll bundle those donations along with the sales from the catio guide and donate it all to the Humane Society at the end of the year :)
